Dale Carnegie

I needed not be told by my boss to be able to work well that my CV was top of the pile.
I was put out very much about the fact that my boss skirted around me instead of scolding me when I made mistakes.
No wonder why.
they all signed up for this course and were at it for mths and mths.
Yes I definitely saw eyes sparking and eager want rising when praises were lavishily given. but to a degree though man,, why would you patronise your workers? According to this book, being a good leader is never to criticise, never to give direct orders, help them to save face, making them happy about doing things you want... I would say a good leader should be able to pick the right one who has already got the qualities you are looking for at recruiment stage. why would you struggle with a bunch of rejects to make them feel better? or have I totally missed the point of reading this book?
